Cost-cutting measures will see South Manchester operations moved to Queens Road depot

Five years after purchasing the bus operations of Finglands Coachways, First Greater Manchester is set to rationalise its operations in South Manchester. As well as pulling out of the 42 route to East Didsbury, their Rusholme depot will be closed.

There was even a maxim held by Manchester Corporation which stated that ‘if it worked on the 53, it would work anywhere’.
