Donna Williams to do Manchester

Famous Australian author and all round renaissance woman’s 2007 UK tour dates unveiled.

For several years, Donna Williams has been well known to the autism spectrum fraternity as a leading author within this field.  On the autism spectrum like myself, she is also an excellent poet, songwriter, artist and sculptor.  Every year, she travels  from her native Australia to do a UK tour.  Her subjects from learning styles, to how autism is a mix of conditions rather than one homogenous condition.

As revealed on her website, Manchester is one of the places on this year’s UK tour, along with Sheffield, Belfast and Brighton.  The Manchester talk will take place on the 19th September 2007 at the Castlefield Rooms, Castle Street from 1000 - 1200 hours.  Admission will be £20 for professionals or £10 for parents or persons on the autism spectrum.  Nearest railway stations to the venue are Deansgate, Salford Crescent and Manchester Oxford Road.
